Description:80 hours per pay period.
Duties:Coordinates the development, implementation, maintenance, and education of Information Systems which support and enhance patient care, including but not limited to Meditech.
This position serves as the clinical resource liaison between the Information Services Department, ancillary departments, physicians, and the patient care areas for the coordination and implementation of computer solutions as related to patient care.
Essential Functions
o Provides a clinical insight to the implementation and operation of the Hospital Information System and a variety of stand alone and support computerized systems. Plans, directs, and organizes the training of users in cooperation with the specific department director or facility's Education Department.
o Creates, researches, and analyzes data not readily available for complex decisions having direct impact on department operations and/or patient care and may have a direct impact on hospital operations.
o Exhibits superior human relations skills.
o Continuously improves proficiency and knowledge. It is recognized that the retrieval, analysis and presentation of computer hosted data has significant importance and that this position shall provide for an effective means of developing tools (PC based and others) for this important function.

Associates required Bachelors highly desired
3 - 5 years experience in the healthcare field, RN preferred
a) 2+ years Meditech clinical application experience including multi-application dictionary build, maintenance, troubleshooting and end-user support, knowledge of interfaces helpful but not required.
b) Ability to communicate with other professionals
c) Ability to lead small project teams
e) Ability to analyze and recommendations on projects
e) Possess superior human relation skill

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
