Asst. Breeder Ranch Foreperson

Purpose of Position: Assist ranch manager in managing one of the company-owned poultry ranches in Colorado. Manage ranch in manager's absence.
Decision Making Responsibilities: Makes decisions about day-to-day management issues of the ranch, within company guidelines.
Working Relationships: Interacts with other company employees and outside vendors.
Essential Job Functions: 1) Supervise all aspects of ranch functions in absence of Ranch Manager; 2) Monitor bird health; 3) Oversee feeding program; 4) Oversee rodent and insect control program; 5) Maintain biosecurity; 6) Schedule, train employees; 7) Accurately complete paperwork; 8) Ranch Maintenance; 9) Other tasks as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees ranch crew of 2-7 people. This position may have an impact on production numbers including settable eggs.
Requirements:
Good math skills, mechanical ability, ability to work with minimal supervision, previous supervisory experience helpful, bilingual preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
