Certified Hand Therapist, OT - Rehab - Full Time, Days

Position Overview:
The Hand Therapist has the primary responsibility for direct patient care /activities. This position requires a Colorado licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist professional who is capable of evaluating patients and delivering appropriate individualized treatment based on the needs of the patient.
Essential Functions:
a) Evaluate patients.
b) Develop treatment plans and goals.
c) Implement treatment plan.
d) Complete documentation.
e) Participate in team meetings.
f) Provide training/learning opportunities as assigned.
g) Participate in continuing education opportunities.
h) Supervise employees.
i) Maintain equipment and keep a clean work area.
j) Transport patients.
Qualifications & Skills:
a) Education: Must have a current BLS Certification and an active Colorado OT/PT license.
b) Training & Experience: One year of experience is preferred.
c) Job Knowledge: Relates well with various people and personalities of all ages. Demonstrates good judgment and problem solving skills in a variety of staff and patient-related situations. Recognition of own limitations in practice and ability to seek out support and expertise of others. Demonstrates maturity as related to emotional involvement and self-assessment skills. Demonstrates ability to be flexible and adaptable. Demonstrates good verbal and written language skills including correct spelling and medical terminology. Demonstrates strong formal and informal clinical teaching skills. Demonstrates the ability to delegate effectively. Ability to work with patients of all ages. Awareness of Medicare and other insurance's regulations for coverage of speech therapy services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
